Talk to the team.
Ask a question, report a bug, or suggest an idea. Every message reaches a person on the team that builds the language.
Reach the team
Install trouble, a word that did not behave the way the docs say, a package that surprised you, an idea for a new one: start with the docs and the FAQ, and write to developer@venutian.org for anything sensitive. Plain questions get plain answers, from the people who build the language.
Report a bug
Tell us exactly what you typed and what you saw. Include your system, the venutian version (venutian --version), and, where you can, the smallest program that reproduces it. Send it to the team through the contact on the security page and start the subject with Bug, so it is never mistaken for a vulnerability report. We read every report. A real fix lands in the next release's notes, and you get a reply too.
Report a security issue
Found a vulnerability in the compiler, the runtime, the standard library, or the package registry? Do not open a public report. Use the contact on the security page, which also carries our security.txt and the current advisories. The file itself is at /.well-known/security.txt. We credit every reporter who asks to be credited, once a fix ships.
Help shape it
The compiler, runtime and standard library are written in Venutian, and every change passes one conformance suite before it lands. The most useful thing you can send us is a bug report with the smallest program that shows it. Suggest words and packages you wish the language had, and once the marketplace opens, publish your own packages for everyone to use.
Code of conduct
Be kind. Be specific. Assume the person on the other side is building something they care about, because they are. Keep disagreements about the work, never the person. We hold ourselves to the same standard.
